2 and 3 Step Description
Exterior Detail
Pre-Cleaning
We start the process by hand cleaning exterior seams and surfaces,
door, trunk, hood jams, and wheel wells (engine compartments
upon request) to remove any heavy deposits with safe non-corrosive
cleaners and low pressure rinsing.
Wheels & Tires
Wheels and Tires are cleaned with safe non-corrosive cleaners to remove brake dust, road dirt, grease buildup, etc.
Washing
Next, your vehicle (including the undercarriage) is washed
in our state-of-the-art automated Softouch Cloth Wash for
a complete and paint-safe cleaning.
Drying
The vehicle is dried by hand and left for the surface to cool down.
Surface Cleaning & Prep
Depending upon which detail process is requested, the paint
surface is prepared with state-of-the-art and approved cleaning
and polishing products to remove surface contaminants (small
surface abrasions and scratches, oxidation, water spots, sap,
tar, bug deposits, and more).
Polishing & Buffing
If machine buffing is a required part of the service package,
our highly trained detailers use safe cleaning compounds to
remove contaminants by machine buffing. Machine buffing may
be required to prepare the paint surface effectively for waxing
and/or sealing.
Chrome
All exterior chrome is cleaned and polished in the same manner
as the surface.
Glass
All glass surfaces are thoroughly cleaned, removing as many
waterspots as possible.
Waxing
The vehicle is now ready for waxing. We use only the highest
quality commercial-grade waxes especially formulated with
state-of-the-art paint protectants and sealers to keep your
vehicle's paint safe from nature's elements.
Buffing
Again, if machine buffing is a required part of the service
package, the wax is removed by machine buffing giving your
paint finish the kind of depth and shine that can only be
achieved by a trained professional.
Wheels & Tires Finishing
Wheels are polished and tires are dressed with a commercial-grade
poly protectant that contains absolutely no silicone or petroleum
products.
Final Detail & Inspection
The vehicle exterior is now ready for the finishing touches.
Our detailers go over all the "nooks & crannies" removing
any wax or polish residue and inspect the vehicle for that
quality look you will come to expect from Autowash Express.

Interior Detail
Pre-Clean & Vacuum
We start the interior cleaning process with a thorough removal
of "hidden" and inaccessible debris and dust with a low-pressure
air tool. All air vents, door panels, handles, dash components
(non electrical), seats, consoles, thresholds; literally every
crevice is blown out to clear debris. Seats are removed when
possible allowing greater cleaning access to carpeting and
brackets. Then, the entire floor area and seating is vacuumed.
This yields the highest quality "deep cleaning" possible.
Leather & Vinyl
All vinyl or leather areas are cleaned with safe approved
cleaners, specific to each material, to remove surface dirt
and soil. Then they are treated with specially formulated
commercial grade conditioners to bring these materials back
as close to new as possible.
Shampoo
Cloth upholstery, carpets, mats, cloth door panels, etc. are shampooed with our state-of-the-art shampoo machines. These highly effective extractors help lift out most stains, spills and unwanted odors.
Dash Dressing
If requested by our customer, our technician will treat the
vinyl dash, door, and console areas with a safe protectant
that contains absolutely no silicone or petroleum products.
Final Detail & Inspection
The vehicle interior is now ready for the finishing touches. Our detailers go over all the "nooks & crannies" with small soft brushes to remove any "crevice" debris.
